This fourth-grade wigwam project is cause for celebration. This is the first father-son carpentry project in the new workshop. It’s been a long time since they built the winning Pinewood Derby car for Cub Scouts back in Rhinecliff. (Susan frets about sawdust in a Passive House carpentry shop but Chris swears to vacuum.) Lily decided that she wanted to build a wigwam, too. She’s using the drill press to make 16 holes for twigs.
